This cozy seating area, designed by Natalie Hager and Chloe Phelps of Natalie Hager Interiors, is perfect for conversation and entertaining; pieces from Hilary Howorth Art enhance the room’s personality
Natalie Hager and her team at Natalie Hager Interiors turned to their client’s love of fashion for inspiration as she looked to redesign and personalize her home.
This striking table makes a stunning statement in the home’s entryway.
THE PROJECT
The client had a background in fashion—you can see how this shines through. We named this project Living Couture. The homeowner collected beautiful couture products. Look at her closet! We felt that the home needed to follow suit.
With stately furnishings from Made Goods and elegant lighting from Visual Comfort, the home office exudes sophistication—a refined space for conducting business.
THE DESIGN
We begin our design process by getting to know our clients—how they live, what they like, what is important to their family and their home life—and then we write a story about their home. We believe that every home should tell a story and that home is just as important of a character in our clients’ lives.
Bright and inviting, the kitchen serves as the heart of the home, equipped with every amenity a home cook could desire.
THE DETAILS
An important part of the story for this project was to bring a sense of authenticity to the grand, fabricated moments. We used a mix of organic shapes and materials and colors found in nature to soften the stately elements making them feel less contrived. Fashion, nature, organic materials, metallics and colors and shapes found in the sky and farmland of Nashville were important inspirations that drove the project.
Thoughtfully chosen wall colors throughout the home strike a perfect balance between vibrant pops and serene spaces
THE OUTCOME
The client chose to work with our firm because she saw how we transform white box spaces into colorful, story-filled places. The biggest challenge was trying to add authenticity to a home with tall ceilings stately moments and helping the home to feel cozy and comfortable when everything was one large white box with little personality. We made her semi-custom builder-grade home into a warm and inviting curated home by using color and pattern to help soften and authenticate large and grand spaces.
Exquisite tilework and fixtures elevate the primary shower with a touch of luxury.
A curated mix of furnishings from Made Goods, Universal Furniture, and Four Hands Designs transforms the primary bedroom into a stylish and serene retreat.
