Food & Drink,
Parton is popping bottles with her new business venture.
Get ready to pour yourself a cup of ambition. The queen herself, Dolly Parton, is releasing a collection of wines. Dolly Wines will launch at the end of June with a 2023 California Chardonnay, a blend of white peach, sweet cream, and toasty oak for a perfectly balanced sweetness.
Parton announced the new venture at CMA Fest Fan Fair X, telling the adoring crowd how excited she was to release her first collection of wines in collaboration with Parton Family Cellars and Accolade Wines, one of the largest wine companies in the World.
The beloved entertainer is known for bringing people together, and each bottle will do just that by inviting wine lovers and music fans into Dolly's world. Parton was involved in every step of the winemaking process, offering her input on taste, look and feel to ensure each bottle is perfectly Dolly.
In a deal brokered by IMG, the initial Dolly Wines range features three varietals, including Chardonnay, Rosé and Prosecco. A fourth varietal, Sparkling, will launch in Australia in September.
U.S. consumers can pre-order the Chardonnay through Vivino on DollyWines.com, with orders shipping on June 25. The wine will go on sale in the United States to leading retailers in July.
