Style & Beauty,
What does a Carolina Herrera client wear when not wearing a gown?
Vibrant, feminine denim pieces, of course.
Supported by the refined expertise of Frame, Carolina Herrera has released its first-ever denim capsule collection.
The collaboration coalesces the everyday glamor of Carolina Herrera with Frame’s tailored denim mastery.
“Frame is my favorite denim brand,” says Wes Gordon, creative director of Carolina Herrera.
Reflecting on Frame co-founder and creative director Erik Torstensson, he adds, “I love Erik and what he has built and I adore that this collaboration came together organically from friendship, built around the needs of our clients and what they want to wear today.”
Neighbors on Madison Avenue in New York City, Frame’s Los Angeles roots make for an ideal kindred spirit of Carolina Herrera, known for its signature bold colorways. The collection features five silhouettes that range in price from $498 to $1,198.
Enriched by Herrera Red, marigold, white, Celeste and currant cranberry, the capsule includes a tailored denim jacket, a denim ball skirt, taper jeans, a corset mini skirt and a corset midi skirt.
“Wes is an immensely talented designer and a close friend. It was such an honor to collaborate with him,” Torstensson says. “His vision was so clear from the onset and he has deftly steered the Frame aesthetic into a new territory of proportion and saturation of color palette.”
The Carolina Herrera x Frame collection is now available at both brand’s stores and retailers like Net-A-Porter, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s and Leigh’s. It will officially make its runway debut tonight in Mexico City in the Carolina Herrera Resort 2024 show.
