Step out your door and onto the tropical shores of Cuba and Miami with unique cocktails from the award-winning bars Cafe La Trova and Four Walls—all without ever leaving Music City. Coming to the city on Oct. 3, Cafe La Trova has timed its visit with the upcoming Mária Magdelena Campos-Pons exhibit at the Frist Art Museum, and together, they make for a moment that highlights Cuba from several angles.

Nestled within The Joseph, Four Walls is hosting the latest of Cafe La Trova’s four-year running pop-up series from 5 p.m. until midnight, and they’re featuring two standout cocktails from each bar as well as a one-night-only collaborative creation from their respective masterminds—Cafe La Trova’s Julio Cabrera, founder and owner, and Four Walls' lead bartender, Mickey Stevenson. Together, they’ve created “Las Dos Aguas,” an exploration of Cuban identity crafted with Bombay Sapphire gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, lime, cucumber and mint.

It will showcase several other cocktails from both bars and ones inspired by Cuba and the art exhibition, like La Trova’s “Daiquiri Rumbero,” made with Bacardi rum, Tempus Fugit créme de cacao, lime, vermouth and chocolate bitters.
