The biggest night in Hollywood is now closer than ever. On Jan. 23, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the 2025 ceremony. Continuing its domination of awards season, Emilia Pérez racked up a whopping 13 nods, also making it the Oscar’s most nominated non-English language film ever.

Additionally, Emilia Pérez’s Best Picture nomination alongside Wicked marks the first time two musicals have been nominated in the category since 1968. The latter film earned 10 nominations, including for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s performances. The Brutalist, starring Adrien Brody, also scooped up 10 nominations.

The Academy Awards will take place on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the ceremony will air live on ABC and stream live on Hulu.
