Nashville is one of the most exciting places to be on Independence Day. From live music and rooftop parties to one of the biggest fireworks displays in the country, here are just a few ways to celebrate the 4th in Music City.

Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing! event is one of the nation’s biggest and most-anticipated Fourth of July celebrations, and this year is no exception. The downtown event will present one of the country’s largest July 4th fireworks shows, which for the first time will include drone light elements by Sky Elements Drone Show synchronized to live music from the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony. Headliner Chris Young will be joined on the Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage by a multi-genre lineup that includes singer/actress Yola, The Voice winners Grl Named Tom and Dove Award-winning artist Blessing Offor. Family-friendly activities and performances are planned all day, but the main show kicks off at 5 p.m.

The Adventure Science Center’s 4th of July Red, White, & Boom celebration is a kid-friendly extravaganza, complete with hands-on activities, planetarium and live science shows, a DJ, outdoor games and a perfect view of the downtown fireworks from the Center's front lawn. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. and at 9 p.m. all attendees will move outside to watch the fireworks display.

Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in style at Skydeck on Broadway. This July 4th rooftop extravaganza will kick off during the afternoon and run late into the night. It will feature food from Honeyfire BBQ, drinks (both open bar and cash bar), live performances and DJs. The party will cap off with a dazzling view of downtown's spectacular fireworks display.
