The 2024 Michelin Guide hotel ranking has revealed its selections of the most outstanding stays in the country—and four Tennessee hotels have officially made the cut. Awardees were granted one key for a ‘special’ service, two for an ‘exceptional’ stay or three for an ‘extraordinary’ experience, based on criteria like local contribution, interior design and architecture, individuality, consistency and quality of service.

Two Keys

The Hermitage Hotel

This historic hotel is the first Music City travel destination to be awarded two Michelin keys for an exceptional stay. Open since 1910, the Hermitage Hotel is known for its opulent, Beaux-Arts-style environs, including oversized rooms with custom-made European furnishings, marble flooring, a stained-glass lobby ceiling and a grand veranda. Guests receive exclusive access to high-caliber amenities like on-site dining at Drusie & Darr and The Pink Hermit, concierge service, afternoon tea, four newly reimagined event spaces, dry-cleaning and more.

Downtown Nashville mainstay 1 Hotel has earned its place on the Michelin Guide’s list of one key recipients for its luxurious hospitality experience, elegant rooms, exceptional service and top in-house dining destinations, including Harriet’s Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, 1 Kitchen and Farmstand for in-room dining, each of which offers sustainable, locally sourced farm-to-table cuisine. The destination is also home to a fitness program, a Bamford spa and an array of rooms and suites that feature pet-friendly accommodations, complimentary WiFi, Nespresso machines, sustainably sourced bedding and more.

Members club and hotel Soho House Nashville has secured one key for its timeless, Bauhaus-inspired contemporary design, impressive contemporary art collection, high-caliber service and range of upscale amenities like fitness features, ultra-luxe rooms and even a a 60-seat screening room. Housed in a former sock factory, the luxury travel destination features 47 bedrooms, a pool, a gym and a performance space, plus on-site dining at the hotel’s signature Northern Italian restaurant, Club Cecconi’s, and neighborhood spot, May’s.
